Although a graphic designer by trade, I would honestly consider myself an all around visual creator. I am drawn to things that catch the eye, and all kinds of avenues to do so. When not in the office, Iā€™m shooting with cameras at least three or four times as old as I am, and in my own homemade darkroom creating images that I find engage the eye and often use in my own personal design projects. You can also find me in my workshop creating unique light fixtures, furniture, and other projects that are often inspired in the middle of the night. Whether it be printing my own shirts, building my own desk out of reclaimed wood, or making cyanotype prints from old negatives, I am always looking for ways to express my visual creativity.

Naturally, a graphic design career found me and is one of my favorite ways to express that creativity. The mixture of solving problems with design, using research and business insight to create, and the ability to see my own creativity impact the world around me has been an amazing experience.

I pursue meaning and a deep understanding with every aspect of design, and believe that with simplicity comes effective communication. I pride myself on the highest quality of work, because I work for the Lord (Col. 3:23).

Some of my recent accomplishments include placing 1st at the state and national SkillsUSA advertising design competition, and becoming the USA Graphic Design competitor of the WorldSkillsUSA team that traveled to Russia in 2019 to compete against the best in the world.
